I build things.
I think about other things.
I make software and companies, study philosophy, psychology and sociology, and write about truth, reality, consciousness, religion, creativity — and whatever question refuses to leave me alone.
I build things.
Most of them start as a question, an irritation, or a stupid idea that won't go away.
I write about things.
Usually philosophy. Sometimes technology, society, religion, mathematics, consciousness, or whatever rabbit hole I've fallen into that week.
I study things.
Three disciplines. One increasingly complicated picture of the world.
A generalist isn't someone who knows a little about everything. It's someone who sees the same patterns across different domains—where coding and philosophy ask similar questions, where hiring and consciousness relate, where distribution matters in both startups and ideas.

02 / Thinking
Then there's the stuff I can't build.
Questions about truth, reality, consciousness, religion, mathematics, creativity, death, society and what makes humans do the things they do.
What is true?

Truth
An Exposition Beyond Science, Philosophy, Religion and Art
I've been circling around the question of truth for years — through science, philosophy, religion and art. This book is an attempt to follow that question a little further.

Things I've written.
I write about philosophy, society, reality, religion, creativity, consciousness, and whatever else keeps bothering me.

Say hi.
If you want to talk about startups, software, philosophy, books, the internet, or something completely unrelated, I'm around.
